Another Day

You saw me
through another
day

I poured water
through your eyes
they
glistened

In the smog
of my mind
you gazed
hope

Sleep
did not lure you
eyes open
you hung on searching
for my blue stare

Eyes of yours
found mine

You saw me
through another
day

And
I
give
thanks
