Compliance at a Roadside Detainment

The young skinny black man
placed his wrists behind his back
and mumbled past the group of
officers and out into the universe

Do what you’re gonna do
Do what you’re gonna do
Just do what you’re gonna do
Do what you were already gonna do
Do what you always were gonna do
